BC Fruit Testers Annual Fall Fruit Show
West Shore Centre, 2945 Jacklin Road, Victoria. Saturday 10 am to 4 pm, Sunday 11am to 4 pm. A big display of apples, pears, kiwis, and nuts grown in south coastal B.C., apple identification (bring six good apples picked from the sunny side of the tree), heritage fruit information, Master Gardener’s to answer questions on diseases and pests of fruit, pollination and bee displays, demonstrations of various aspects of fruit growing, insect and disease displays, preserving techniques and display, plus much, much more.
